Summer was starting, and it was the last day of
school. The girls walked home, Katy said,
“No school for
eight weeks! Vacation!”
When they reached their house, the girls heard a lot
of noise. Tables, chairs, and a bed were all being moved in
the house.
Katy asked Aunt Izzie,
“What is going on?”
Aunt Izzie said,
“Oh, do go away. We have too much
to do right now. Come back when it is time for dinner.”
Katy said,
“We will go away when you tell us who is
coming!”
“Your cousin Helen is coming,”
Aunt Izzie said.
