After the ladies go, Tamino wakes up. He
sees something very strange. He sees a man with
feathers all over him. The feathers have many
colors: blue, red, orange, green, yellow, pink, and
purple. The man has a bird cage. He is singing.
He sings:
“I am Papageno, the bird hunter!
I am always happy!
Everyone in this magic land knows me!
All the little birds are mine to catch!
