Introduction
Andrew Lang was a Scottish poet and writer.
However, he is best known for the stories he did
not write. He is most famous for a twelve-book
series containing collections of fairy tales. This
series was known as his “colored” fairy books.
The Magic Swan
is a European fairy tale which
was included in Lang’s
Green Fairy Book
. This
book was published in 1892.
