wrote many children’s stories, novels, and poems.
His most famous work is
The Wonderful Wizard of
Oz
. It was first published in 1900 and later turned
into a successful musical and a movie. In 1902,
Baum’s story,

Claus
, was published. It tells Baum’s own version
of how Santa Claus came to be.
