Sue and Johnsy lived in this village. They were
artists. They lived on the third floor of an old brick
building. Sue was fromMaine, and Johnsy was from
California. Johnsy’s real name was Joanna, but her friends
called her Johnsy.
Sue and Johnsy met at a restaurant in May. They
started talking. They found that they were similar in
many ways. They both liked many of the same things.
They both liked to paint pictures and eat salad. They both
liked clothes and fashion. So they decided to live together
and paint together. They became very good friends.
