One holiday, they couldn’t go home. So
they all stayed together at Cathy’s school. They
were the only three children at the school. And
there were only two adults: a French nanny
and a maid. The nanny took care of them.
Jerry was the oldest. Cathy was in the
middle. And Jimmy was the youngest.
Jerry was good at talking to adults. He
usually got what he wanted. So it was Jerry
who made the nanny smile.
He was the one who brought
her beautiful flowers. And
he was the one who asked
to go into the forest.
