Introduction
Luo Guanzhong’s
Romance of the Three
Kingdoms
was written during the 1300s. It is a
novel based on historical events in China near
the end of the Han Dynasty through the end
of the Three Kingdoms era. That time period in
China began in 169 CE and ended in 280 CE,
when China became a single united country
again.
