Introduction
This story comes from France. The title of
the French story is “The Beauty Asleep in the
Wood.” The writer, Charles Perrault, wrote many
famous fairy tales. He also wrote “Little Red
Riding Hood,” “Cinderella,” and “Puss in Boots.”
These stories were all old. Perrault changed them
a little. His stories are the famous ones we know
today.
