Introduction
This story comes from France. It is
sometimes called “Master Cat” or “The
Booted Cat.” The writer, Charles Perrault,
wrote many famous fairy tales. He also wrote
“Little Red Riding Hood,” “Sleeping Beauty,”
and “Cinderella.” These stories were all old.
Perrault changed them a little. His stories are
the famous ones we know today.
