Ole-Luk-Oie is a storyteller. Each evening,
he walks up the stairs. The children are sitting
in their chairs. They are not sleepy. Ole-Luk-
Oie throws dust into their eyes. Each child’s
head starts to drop.
Ole-Luk-Oie sits on the bed. He wears a
coat. The coat changes colors. The green coat
changes to purple. The purple coat changes to
blue.
Ole-Luk-Oie carries two umbrellas and
a magic wand. One umbrella has pictures on
it. He covers the good children with it. They
dream beautiful stories. The second umbrella is
for the naughty children. They do not dream.
