Introduction
This is a story by Walter Scott, a writer from
Scotland. Scott wrote this story in the early 1800s,
but the story is about England in the 1100s. When
Scott wrote the story, it was very popular. It is still
popular today.
The knight named Ivanhoe is mostly at the
beginning and end of the story. The middle of the
story is filled with other important characters.
Though
Ivanhoe
is not about real people, there is
some real history in the story.
