Which pet would you choose
:
a rabbit or a bird? I think that rabbits
make better pets than birds for many reasons. First, rabbits are
covered in soft fur. They feel soft and cudd l y, so you can pet them.
Birds, however, have sharp ta l ons and strong beaks. They can hurt
you when they scratch or peck you. Also, rabbits are very calm and
quiet, but birds make lots of noise. The noise that they make is loud
and can hurt your ears. Finally, rabbits are easy to keep. They do not
run away, and they are easy to clean up after. But birds can escape
from their cages very easily. If this happens, then it will be hard to
get them back. For all these reasons, rabbits are surely better pets
than birds.
